It is designed for the smaller company where there are fewer Health and Safety Risks. An appointed person is someone you choose to take charge when someone is injured or falls ill, including calling an ambulance if required. The First Aid Appointed person has the responsibility to look after the first-aid equipment, eg restocking the first-aid box.
This course provides the employee with basic First Aid skills and will give them the confidence and knowledge to deal with a range of basic First Aid incidents, and carry out vital life saving practices.
The course would also be suitable for employees who are looking to provide support to qualified First Aiders
These are just some of the subjects addressed in the course.
An Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. It is valid for 3 years.
Training can be delivered in our Glasgow City Centre training facility or alternatively training can be conducted at our clients offices.
